Lightning and Mise en scene

We plan on using a low key lightning set up with barely any use of natural light, mainly because our narrative is distressing and a pressing issue. To create an ambience of someone struggling with drugs and mental health, we are going for a darker lightning palette. We also plan on using purple, blue and red lightning to depict the feeling of euphoria and escape the actor character would feeling after using the drug. By using such colour palette, we plan on evoking different feeling inside the audience such as using blue depicts depression at times while the use of red mostly evokes a feeling of anger or terror.

For Mise en scene, the clothes of the actor would be very causal and something that all teenagers normally wear day to day. The outfit and get up of the character will evoke a feeling of reliability over the target audience, who are going to be also teenagers (16-19)
