Risk Assessment

here are the risks that we faced during the shooting and how we tackled them

- Covid-19: Unfortunately, the pandemic has created a lot of hurdles especially for media students who have to go out of their comfort zones to work on their projects. To make sure that we all are Covid-19  protected, we planned on casting only two people since more than that could put us all in a higher risk. The cast members along with the producers are all vaccinated and we maintained a safe distance during the shooting.

-In case batteries run out: Our camera, as well as the lights were all driven by batteries. For our lights we had extra battery available just in case something goes wrong with the first battery, we were also carrying the chargers with us. Moreover, We had fully charged our DSLR before shooting but because the filming took a whole day, we planned effective breaks in between for our team to relax ,while we put our DSLR battery on charging.

-What if we missed out on couple of shots: While we had made a script that we were following, we unfortunately realized we had missed out on a couple of scenes that we didn't shoot. Thus, we planned a reshoot to fix some shots and to take new ones. Our cast again gathered at the location we were shooting initially and we completed our shooting phase. We had already assessed that in such a scenario we might have to reshoot so we informed our actors prior to confirm their availability.

- Lights: The main aspect of our music video were the lights since we used artificial lights throughout our production. While we had lights available the first time we were shooting, we couldn't get a hold of them when we were reshooting thus, in such a scenario we had already planned to use the team member's (laiba mehmood) sunset lamp and bulb which changed colors according to our choice.
